Capers Dominate Glass in easy road win

Cape Breton (6-1) 105, UNB (0-7) 94 The Capers grabbed 23 offensive rebounds and enjoyed an overall 45-22 margin on the glass in building a 19 point lead after 3 quarters and coasting to a win over the host Varsity Reds. Six Capers scored in double figures led by 6'5" Eric Breland who had a season-high 29 points and added 14 rebounds. 6'4" Paul Blake added 16 points and 9 boards including 7 on the offensive glass while 6'4" sophomore Philip Nkrumah added 14 and 7. Cape Breton broke open a four-point game at the half by scoring 39 third-quarter points. Thor Jensen led the Reds with 26 points.
