Brandon Coaching Update, Heaney Hired as Acadia Athletic Director

Good friend David Larkins provides an update on the Brandon coaching situation including a piece that he wrote for the Brandon Sun. Still no official word on who was short-listed or when the decision will be made however Larkins does a nice job summarizing the candidates and uncovering who did not make the short list. And then there were.... four ?

Thanks to Barry Hayes from hooplife.ca for sending along some links to Atlantic Canada newspapers announcing that former CIAU all-time great Brian Heaney, who also coached the U of T Varsity Blues among other teams and most recently was a successful analyst on Raptors broadcasts and other shows has been named the new Athletic Director at Acadia University in Wolfville, NS. Congratulations goes out to Brian who will return to Atlantic Canada after many years in southern Ontario.
