Trinity Western 114, Fraser Valley 89

6'6" Jacob Doerksen broke the Trinity Western record for points in a game with 42 and added 8 rebounds and 8 assists as the Spartans pulled away in the third quarter to sweep the Cascades at home in Langley.  Doerksen hit 5-10 three pointers while going 16-25 from the field overall.  In all the Spartans shot 20 for 41 from downtown including 6'3" Calvin Westbrook's 5-9 effort (19 points).  Reserve point guard Daniel Horner came off the bench to knock down 4-7 3's for 15 points in just 15 minutes.  TWU shot 59% in the second half to pull away after a close first half.

Sam Freeman led UFV with 32 points while Joel Friesen shook off a mediocre performance on Friday with 22 points including several when the Cascades forged an early lead.
