6'8" Owen Klassen had a dominating 32 point, 14 rebound performance and the Axemen overcame the early-game loss to injury of 6'6" Justin Boutilier to knock off the Panthers in Wolfville in a game that was made up after originally being postponed earlier in the season. Acadia won despite a poor 15 of 32 effort from the free throw line. Acadia led wire-to-wire, jumping out to a double digit lead before the Panthers put together a run that got the game back to 8 late in the third however 6'3" Anthony Sears knocked down back-to-back 3's and the Axemen cruised from there. 6'0" Terrence Brown had 18 to lead UPEI while 6'4" fifth-year forward Anthony McDougald (Baltimore, MD) hit his first three shots and finished with 12 points.
