CIS alumnus Aaron Doornekamp had 8 points but six came in the last 5 minutes including a huge three with just over a minute to play and Canada clinging to a one point lead. Canada finishes the quarter-final round at 3-4 and now advances to the semi-finals against either Argentina, Puerto Rico or Brazil to be decided tonight after Brazil and Puerto Rico square off in the final game of the quarter-final round.
