Apparently, Mr Desaulniers memory needs some refreshing.

That's 40 and 49 point pasteings, respectively.
And when did this happen you may ask^
Was it during the darkest days of the Paul Armstrong era, when the team had seven straight losing seasons?
Nope.
It happened during the 04-05 season, when a veteran laden team led by Jeanty and Mike Smart rolled to a 22-0 season and a third straight championship.
Point is, don't take these exhibitions with top calibre NCAA D1 too seriously.
These teams are clearly in a different league.
The CIS record so far against NCAA teams is what...3-25?
Conversely, if you pit the champion of the NCAA against the worst NBA team or a good Euro pro team, expect the collegians to get their comeuppance.
These games are learning experiences.
You don't learn anything playing D3 teams like Ithaca College.
That's why Carleton stop playing teams like that a long time ago.
Now for something to really get upset about...under 1800 fans for this game?
Really?
That's less than one out of every ten seats in the building occupied...so sad.
After many weeks of promotion in the papers?
Apparently that wasn't enough and quite honestly, it really wasn't.
The promoters of this event should tear a page or two out of Jeff Hunt's book on how to sell an event.
