Interesting to see UNB gets some votes ahead of teams like Acadia, Laurier and others.

Other teams receiving votes: Dalhousie (107), Lakehead (34), UNB (33).
How could a 4-4 UNB team that just lost to Memorial, one of the worst teams in the CIS, have been among the other teams receiving votes?
ReplyDeleteA few voters must have confused te UNB men's team's record and results with their women's team which is one of the stronger teams in the CIS.
So 4-4 UNB (10-12 overall, actually) got 33 votes?
ReplyDeleteA team that, among its twelve losses, lost twice to PEI and most recently to MUN?
Maybe somebody thought this was a hockey poll.
I'd love to find out who those geniuses were, but I guess it's a secret vote and only Price-Waterhouse knows for sure.
re: UNB .... I don't know maybe the same people who have Toronto at #9 in the CIS ... the same Toronto team UNB lost to by 1 point at Christmas despite the V-Reds not having their top scorer dressed.
