Cape Breton 94, Saint Mary's 82
The Capers got 26 points (5-8 3's), 6 rebounds and 5 assists from Jimmy Dorsey and 18 points, 6 rebounds from Tremaine Fraser to defeat Saint Mary's in the first of two weekend games in Sydney. Capers led by 24 at 80-54 after three quarters and coasted to the win. Cape Breton's Paris Carter again did not play due to a hand injury. Joey Haywood had 18 to lead SMU. The teams play again tomorrow night.
